The meaning of Raksha Bandhan. 'Raksha' is a word that means protection and 'Bandhan' means the bond. so, Raksha Bandhan stands for the bond of protection with loves between brother and sister.
Rakhi celebrate this emotional bonding by tying a spiritual thread around the wrist. This thread, is called the 'Rakhi'. It means 'a sisters pray for long life of their brothers and get promising to care for his sister life
